Camera RAW #

• Added RED R3D (KOMODO / V-RAPTOR / MONSTRO / WEAPON), developed on the GPU.

Shooting metadata #

• Reads ISO, white balance, shutter, lens and Reel written by cameras from Sony, ARRI, RED, Blackmagic Design, Nikon, DJI and others as metadata.
• Added the Camera (Recorder) and Camera Serial columns.
• The two RED timecodes (Absolute / Edge) can be shown in separate columns.

Color and HDR #

• Shows log footage with a Rec.709 look in thumbnails and the player through ACES 1.3 / 2.0.
• Detects the log format from metadata automatically. You can also set it per row.
• Supports log formats from ARRI, RED, Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Apple, DJI, Nikon, FUJIFILM, GoPro and more.
• Added exposure (EV) and brightness adjustment, and ACES Reference Gamut Compression.
• HDR display on HDR-capable screens (Windows and Mac).
• Added the Applied color space column.

Review BOX and Review player #

• Added the Review BOX, which lays out clips as tiles. Hover to check frames inside a clip.
• Added star ratings. They are exported to the xlsx too.
• The Review player plays clips in real time with audio.
• Added full screen, loop and playing the next clip when one ends.
• Added locate by dragging, zoom, pan and 1:1 display.
• Save the current frame as an image.

ShotPlayer #

• Added ShotPlayer, a standalone player that plays clips right away without opening ShotList.
• Playlist, RAPID PLAY, and creating a ShotList from the playlist.

Import #

• Drag and drop several files and folders at once to import them.
• Faster import by processing several clips at the same time.
• Diff Update adds only the media that is new.
• Cut detection splits a video into one row per cut (machine learning, TransNetV2).
• Added an option to exclude single images that are not part of a sequence.

List #

• Switch column sets with import presets.
• Reorder columns by dragging their headers; show or hide them with a right-click.
• Freeze columns to keep the left columns in place while scrolling sideways.
• Filter: combine conditions such as stars, fps, codec and camera. Presets can be saved.
• Added the EXR check columns.
• Anamorphic desqueeze and rotation.
• Themes (light / dark), font size, multiple windows, a totals line and copying cells.
• Setup wizard: set the commonly changed settings by answering a few questions.

Export #

• Three xlsx modes (Excel / compatible / Sheets). Images go inside the cells in Google Sheets too.
• Added splitting by file size (90MB by default) to keep files small enough for Excel for the web and Google Sheets.
• Added Export Images to write thumbnails out as JPEG files.
• Added XXH3-64 and XXH64BE (ASC MHL compatible) checksums.
• Regenerate Thumbnails Only and Refetch All but Thumbnails redo the work after changing settings.

.shotlist files #

• Save your list, comments, stars and thumbnail changes to a .shotlist file and pick up later.
• Relink when the media folder moves.

Finder thumbnails (Mac) #

• Shows thumbnails and previews of camera RAW and other files in Finder and Quick Look on Mac.

Production add-on (new) #

• Copy to Nuke, NukeStudio and Hiero, and import from Nuke scripts and timelines. PRODUCTION
• Send to DaVinci Resolve Studio bins, and import from projects and timelines. PRODUCTION
• Send to After Effects (creating folders and compositions), and import from projects. PRODUCTION

Changed or discontinued #

• Requirements are now Windows 10 / 11 and macOS 15 or later (Apple silicon).
• All licenses are now subscriptions (with a 14-day trial).
