Sony X-OCN (Mac) PRODUCTION

PRODUCTION This feature requires the Production add-on (free for the first 14 days). In the trial or without the add-on, menu items show " (Production only)" and cannot be used.

Only on Mac with the Production add-on can ShotList2 show pictures of Sony X-OCN (VENICE / BURANO / F65 / F55 / F5).

On Windows, X-OCN is metadata only, even with the add-on (no thumbnails or playback). The same applies to a Mac without the add-on.

What you need

macOS 15 or later
The free "nablet X-OCN Media Extension"
The free "Apple Pro Video Formats" (to read MXF files)
The X-OCN extension turned on in System Settings → "Login Items & Extensions" → "Media Extensions"

If they are missing, ShotList2 shows how to install them after importing.

What you can do

Thumbnails
Preview and playback (picture only)
Finder thumbnails (Quick Look)

The color is handled as S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine; the D key switches between the ACES display and the original look (Color and HDR).
